Robert Kossuth is an Associate Professor in the Department of Kinesiology & Physical Education at the University of Lethbridge. His research focuses on the historical, cultural, and gendered dimensions of sport, recreation, and leisure in 19th- and early 20th-century Canada.
Education:
- H.B.A. in Physical Education from Wilfrid Laurier University
- M.H.K. in Human Kinetics from the University of Windsor
- Ph.D. in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario
Research Interests:
- Local historical experiences of sport in Canada
- Evolution of rugby and Canadian football
- Masculinity and manliness in sport and recreation practices
