Robert K. Peet is a Research Professor in the Department of Biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, affiliated with the Curriculum for the Environment and Ecology. He holds a Ph.D. in Ecology from Cornell University and has dedicated his career to vegetation science, ecoinformatics, and biodiversity conservation. His research focuses on community dynamics, vegetation classification, and the vegetation of the Carolinas.
