Robert Harvey

Dr. Robert Harvey is a Professor and Chair of Pharmacology at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. His research focuses on understanding the interplay between the autonomic nervous system and cardiac function, particularly how sympathetic and parasympathetic stimulation influence arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death. He has extensively studied cardiac myocyte signaling mechanisms, neurotransmitter effects, and cAMP compartmentation using experimental and computational approaches.
