Dr. Robert Fithen is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Arkansas Tech University, affiliated with the College of Engineering & Applied Sciences. He earned a BS from Louisiana Tech University, an MS from Texas A&M University - College Station, and a PhD from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
- Research interests include Machine Learning, Computational Methods, and applications in Support Vector Regression, Classification methods, and Monte Carlo Prediction.
- He has taught foundational courses such as STATICS, DYNAMICS, and advanced design projects like Mechanical Design Project I & II.
