Robert D. Gregg IV is a Professor at the University of Michigan, affiliated with the Robotics Department, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering & Computer Science. He directs the Locomotor Control Systems Laboratory, focusing on control systems for robotic prostheses and orthoses.
Research Interests: His work bridges legged robotics and rehabilitation engineering, emphasizing nonlinear control theory, biomechanics, and actuator design. Projects include $3M NIH-funded agile powered prosthetic legs and $1.7M NIH modular orthoses.
