Robert C. Berwick

Robert C. Berwick is a Professor of Computational Linguistics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), affiliated with the Department of Linguistics and Philosophy. His research focuses on computational models of language acquisition, processing, and change, integrating machine learning, grammatical theory, and dynamical systems. He has also explored the biological and evolutionary origins of human language, particularly through comparisons with birdsong.
