Robert Ame

Robert Ame is an Associate Professor in the Department of Human Rights and Criminology at the Faculty of Arts, Wilfrid Laurier University, and holds a Fellowship with former directorship at the Tshepo Institute for the Study of Contemporary Africa.

His research specializes in Children's Rights, Comparative Youth Justice, and the eradication of Female Ritual Servitude (Trokosi) in Ghanaian communities, alongside developing International Service Learning frameworks. His work bridges criminological theory with human rights advocacy, particularly in African contexts.
