Dr Robbie Reid is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Stirling Law School, joining in 2023. He holds an LLB from the University of Edinburgh (2016), a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice (2017), and an LLM by Research from the University of Glasgow (2019) with distinction.
- Specializes in criminal law and delict, focusing on privacy and reputation rights in Scots criminal law
- Current PhD research at Glasgow (funded by the Carnegie Trust) examines protection of privacy/reputation through delict vs. criminal law
- Teaching experience includes undergraduate courses in Criminal Law, Delict, and International Private Law
- Former Legal Assistant at the Scottish Law Commission (2019-20) contributing to Homicide reform project
His research also extends to jurisdiction and applicable law in private international law obligations. Robbie supervises LLM dissertations and evaluates assessments at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
