Dr Rob Hillier is an academic and designer at Norwich University of the Arts, specializing in typography and accessibility. His seminal work includes the Sylexiad typeface, designed to aid adult dyslexic readers, which has been showcased globally in venues like the Serpentine Gallery and featured in publications such as Communication Arts and Étapes. He has presented research at conferences including the Association Typographique Internationale (ATypI) and the Design Principles and Practices Conference. Hillier holds a Ph.D. in typography and has exhibited internationally, with recent projects including the artist book 'To-ing' in Tate Britain’s Special Collections. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and the Higher Education Academy.
