Rizal Fajar Hariadi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at Arizona State University, with additional affiliations at the Biodesign Institute and the Center for Biological Physics. He joined ASU in 2016 and established the BIONICS (BIO molecular NAnosystems with Increasing Complexity and Size) Laboratory. Hariadi is also a co-founder of Exodigm Biosciences, a spin-off startup based on genotyping technology developed in his lab.

Hariadi's research focuses on uncovering fundamental physical forces that govern cellular mechanical processes at the molecular level.
