Dr. Rik Huizinga is an Assistant Professor in Urban Geography at Utrecht University's Faculty of Geosciences, specializing in Human Geography and Spatial Planning. His research focuses on gender, migration, and youth studies, particularly exploring how marginalized groups navigate societal challenges through spatial and relational practices. He holds affiliations with the Dynamics of Youth strategic theme and serves on IMISCOE's GenSeM steering committee and as editor for AGORA magazine.
