Rig Das is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (UWL), USA. His research focuses on Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI), Biometrics, EEG Signal Processing, and AI, with applications in neurorehabilitation and medical diagnostics. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Electronics Engineering from Roma Tre University, Italy, and has held roles including Research Scientist at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Postdoctoral Researcher at Technical University of Denmark and the University of Luxembourg.
