Rienk Fokkema

Dr. Rienk Fokkema is a Research Fellow at the Groningen Institute for Evolutionary Life Sciences (GIELS), Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Groningen. His research focuses on predator-prey dynamics in agricultural landscapes, meadow bird conservation, and the ecological impacts of sustainable farming practices. He leads the Grutto-Landschap Project, which investigates biodiversity responses to innovative agricultural methods through biomonitoring and habitat analysis.
