Rieman Rudra

Rieman Rudra is a Lecturer in Finance/Financial Management at the Management School of the University of Sheffield. He joined in 2023, teaching modules such as MGT3009 Company Analysis and Valuation (undergraduate) and MGT6097 Corporate Finance (postgraduate). Prior to this role, he conducted seminars in Financial Economics and Portfolio Management at Loughborough University, alongside Stata econometric workshops.

His research focuses on uncertainty and risk, credit markets, sovereign risk, banking dynamics, and business cycles in emerging economies. He aims to advance transformative studies influencing economic policy. Rudra holds a BSc in Actuarial Science from the London School of Economics, MSc in Actuarial Management from Cass Business School, and a PhD in Financial Economics from Loughborough University. He is a student member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, actively pursuing actuarial fellowship.
