Rick Amidon

Rick Amidon serves as an Adjunct Instructor in English, Literature, and World Languages at Ferris State University's College of Arts, Sciences and Education. He holds a PhD in English from Michigan State University, with additional graduate studies in English/Creative Writing and Spanish. Previously, he served as President of Baker College campuses (1989–2009) and Sanford Brown College.

Publications include motivational literature and poetry collections exploring themes of personal development and educational leadership. Awards include Rotary International's Paul Harris Fellowship and Northern Michigan University's Distinguished Alumni recognition.
