Richard Xu is a Professorial Lecturer (Part-Time) at the George Washington University's Milken Institute School of Public Health. He is currently a PhD candidate in economics, specializing in applied econometrics with a focus on public economics, healthcare, and media industries. His research emphasizes leveraging large-scale data sources (structured/unstructured) using NLP techniques and LLMs to derive economic insights and predict economic conditions.
