Richard Singleton serves as Clinical Skills Lead, Clinical Lead for Integrated Clinical Methods (ICM), and University Academic Lead for the Simulated Patient Programme at the University of Worcester. He holds a PhD in Immunology from University College London, an MBChB from the University of Warwick, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education. His expertise spans postgraduate medical education, innovative teaching methodologies, and the integration of technology and gaming into learning environments.
Qualifications include: BSc (Hons) Microbiology with Immunology (University of Leeds, 1999), PhD in Immunology (UCL, 2004), MBChB (Warwick, 2008), MRCGP (Royal College of General Practitioners, 2015), and a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education (Warwick, 2016).
Teaching focuses on clinical and communication skills, with research interests in leveraging technology to enhance medical education. He has held roles at the University of Warwick and Birmingham prior to his current position.
