Richard Rabbitz is an Assistant Professor at Rowan University’s College of Science & Mathematics, Department of Computer Science. He holds an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania and a BSc in Computer Science from West Chester University.

Research Interests: Richard focuses on computer graphics, GPU computing, and immersive technologies such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR). His work also includes systems simulation and modeling, as well as visualizing large-scale datasets in scientific programming contexts.
Industry Experience: He has served as a Principal Member of the Engineering Staff at Lockheed Martin, acting as a subject matter expert in disruptive technologies (GPUs, VR/AR/MR, Digital Twins, Metaverse). At Analytical Graphics Incorporated (AGI), he was a Senior Software Developer specializing in computer graphics and numerical algorithms for solar system visualization.
Academic Contributions: Since 2014, he has taught courses at Rowan University, including Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, Object-Oriented Programming with Java, and Introduction to Systems Simulation and Modeling.
