Richard Peltz-Steele is a Chancellor Professor at the University of Massachusetts School of Law at Dartmouth, where he teaches Torts, Comparative Law, and Freedom of Information Law. Holding a J.D. from Duke University and a B.A. in Journalism and Spanish from Washington & Lee University, he has practiced commercial law in Baltimore and Washington, D.C., and taught law since 2011. His work spans five continents, with a focus on international media law, transparency in development, and private-sector accountability.
