Dr Richard Partington is a Clinical Research Fellow at the School of Medicine, Keele University. He holds a medical degree from Birmingham University (2008), completed GP training in 2013, and earned an MSc in Clinical Pharmacology from Glasgow University. His research focuses on primary care epidemiology, musculoskeletal medicine, and therapeutics, with a current PhD investigating polymyalgia rheumatica's incidence, treatment, and comorbidities.
He has contributed to peer-reviewed publications, including work on paraneoplastic syndromes and antibiotic prescribing practices in surgical settings. Dr Partington's work bridges clinical practice and academic research, emphasizing evidence-based approaches to healthcare challenges.
His professional affiliations include Keele University's David Weatherall building and the Clinical Education Centre collaboration with the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust.
