Richard Nicholas

Dr. Richard Nicholas serves as the Assistant Dean for the Department of Public Health and Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Appalachian College of Pharmacy. He holds a PharmD from Idaho State University and a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine (ND) from Bastyr University.

Trained in nutrition, herbal medicine, physical medicine, homeopathy, and counseling, he advocates for a collaborative patient-coaching model to achieve health goals.

Dr. Nicholas resides in Kingsport, Tennessee, and is active in his local church, participating in international missions. He enjoys outdoor activities like gardening, hiking, biking, and running with his family.
