Richard Nash is a Tutor (Research) in Communication Design at the Royal College of Art (RCA), leading the Art & Design Portfolio Development short course. Formerly a Senior Lecturer at University for the Creative Arts and Leeds Arts University, he holds an MA in Graphic Design, PGCE, and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. His research focuses on the designer as author, self-publishing, and artists’ books as a medium. Key projects include investigating Special Collections in UK institutions and co-producing knowledge about location-based VR experiences. Exhibitions include the Eighthwonder Summer Show, Kaleid Artists’ Book Exhibition, and MoMA collections. Awards include being a 2016 KALEID finalist.
