Richard Milgrom is an Associate Professor and Department Head of the Department of City Planning at the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Architecture. He leads research on age-friendly urban environments, social justice in urban development, and the impacts of planning practices on marginalized communities. His work is supported by SSHRC-funded initiatives like the Age-Friendly Communities – Active Aging Alliance.

Advising & Grants: Supervised students include Becky Raddatz (planning consultation barriers), Waleed Albakry, and Matt Glavin (GIS analysis of urban sprawl). Current projects involve a Fall 2010 studio funded by CURA to design age-friendly urban interventions.
