معرفی
Richard Egli is a Full Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Sherbrooke. He obtained his M.Sc. in Mathematics with a Computer Science specialization from the University of Sherbrooke (1995) and his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Montréal (2000). His office is located in D4-1010-9, and he can be reached via email or phone.
Research Interests: Professor Egli's primary domain is computer graphics, where he develops frameworks to model complex phenomena using topological concepts. His work includes mass-spring systems, fabric simulations, curved surfaces, fluid dynamics, spatial relationships, and image reprojection (generating novel viewpoints from depth-enhanced images). Additional interests encompass virtual actor control, 4D applications, and advanced physical modeling.
