Richard Delisle is a Professor in the Philosophy Department at the University of Lethbridge, School of Liberal Education. His work bridges evolutionary biology, the history and philosophy of science, and the epistemology of paleoanthropology. He has held postdoctoral positions at the University of Chicago (2007-2008) and the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle (1999-2000).

- Darwinism and its historical development
- Philosophical and epistemological analysis of evolutionary biology
- History of paleoanthropology and human evolution
- Interdisciplinary integration of science and philosophy
Recent Publications: Delisle has co-authored Rereading Darwin's Origin of Species (2022), edited special volumes on evolutionary biology (2024, 2021, 2017), and explored topics like Darwin's static worldview (2019) and the epistemological tensions in neo-Darwinism (2009).
Editorial Contributions: Founder and Editor of the Evolutionary Biology: New Perspectives on its Development book series with Springer Nature since 2018.
