Ricardo Ferreira Reis

Ricardo Ferreira Reis is an Assistant Professor and Director of the Center of Applied Studies (CEA) at Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics, Universidade Católica Portuguesa. He earned a PhD in Business Science and Applied Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a Licenciatura in Economics from the University of Porto.

• Past roles: Lecturer in Economics and Business at Universidade Nova, Lisbon; taught Cost and Financial Accounting at The Wharton School

His research focuses on informational economics with emphasis on accounting, corporate governance, and agency theory. He has previously taught a wide range of economics and business courses at Universidade Nova in Lisbon, indicating depth in both academic and practical finance/accounting domains.
