Reza Ahmadzadeh is an Associate Professor at the Miner School of Computer & Information Sciences within the Kennedy College of Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He directs the PeARL Lab (Persistent Autonomy and Robot Learning), focusing on robot learning algorithms for autonomy and human-robot interaction.

His research spans Robot Learning, Reinforcement Learning, and Learning from Demonstration, with applications in Autonomous Underwater Vehicles, Mobile Manipulation, and Humanoid Robotics. His lab has produced 15+ recent papers on topics like skill generalization, malfunction recovery, and trust modeling, leveraging both geometric and probabilistic approaches.
Scientific contributions include:
