Dr. Rey Conquer is a Teaching Fellow at Queen Mary University of London's Department of Modern Languages and Cultures, specializing in German literature and visual culture. He holds a DPhil in German from Oxford and has taught part-time while producing interdisciplinary research on media translation, religion, and avant-garde studies. His work bridges literature, art, and theology, including monographs on German modernist poetry and co-edited journal issues on imagining others' beliefs in German literature.
Research interests include intersections of poetry and architecture, religious belief in secular contexts, and queer morality.
