Reshmi Dutt-Ballerstadt serves as Professor of English at Linfield University while directing the Critical Ethnic Studies program and co-coordinating the Gender Studies minor. Her academic leadership extends to Portland's Literary Arts as a Delve Seminars guide.

Professor Dutt-Ballerstadt's research investigates intersections of race, nation, class, gender, and sexuality through postcolonial theory, critical race studies, and transnational feminisms. As a scholar-activist, she critically examines equity challenges in higher education systems while producing creative works exploring migration and identity.
