René Lefeber is a Professor of International Environmental Law at the Amsterdam Centre for Environmental Law and Sustainability. He concurrently serves as Deputy Legal Adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, advising on international law matters and representing the Netherlands in international legal proceedings and negotiations. His expertise spans Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meetings, the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, and the International Seabed Authority.
