Renxi Qiu

Dr. Renxi Qiu is an Associate Professor in Computer Science at the University of Bedfordshire's School of Computer Science and Technology. He leads the Centre of Cloud Robotics and Connected Intelligence and serves as Course Coordinator for MSc and BSc Software Engineering programs. His research focuses on cloud robotics, connected intelligence, and 5G/6G network applications for robotics.

Dr. Qiu has coordinated major EU projects such as the €723K '5G Enhanced Robot Autonomy' (5G-ERA) and the €825K 'Multi-Role Shadow Robotic System for Independent Living' (SRS). He has delivered keynotes at IEEE ICRA24, EuCNC23, and the 5G-PPP Webinar series, emphasizing 5G/6G-enabled robotics and Industry 5.0. His work spans robotics middleware, network slicing, and AI integration.
