Rensheng Luo

Rensheng Luo is a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Missouri–St. Louis. He holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and completed postdoctoral training at the University of Illinois (Champaign-Urbana) and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. His research focuses on applying Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy to study three-dimensional structures and dynamics of biological macromolecules, organic compounds, and organometallic complexes. Luo directs the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Facility and oversees the Mass Spectrometry facility, supporting interdisciplinary research across chemistry, biochemistry, biology, medicine, physics, and materials science.
