Renee Reisenweaver

Renee Reisenweaver is a Lecturer in the Physics, Engineering and Astrophysics Department at Randolph-Macon College, where she focuses on introductory physics courses. She joined the department as the college expanded its engineering and physics programs. She holds an MSc in Physics from The College of William & Mary (1994) and a BS in Physics from Grove City College (1992).

Her work emphasizes innovative teaching methodologies, including Problem-Based Learning, Inquiry-Based Learning, and Collaborative Discussion Boards. She has contributed to evaluating STEM curricula in K-12 education through collaborations with the Center for Gifted and Talented Education at William & Mary. Her career includes teaching in Hanover County Public Schools, where she implemented pedagogical approaches to make physics accessible and relevant.

Renee currently teaches courses such as Introductory Physics I and II (PHYS 151/152), Digital Electronics (PHYS 210), and the interdisciplinary 'Hitchhiker's Physics' (PHYS 105).
