Renee Michelle Ragin Randall is an LSA Collegiate Fellow and future Assistant Professor in Comparative Literature and Middle East Studies at the University of Michigan. Her primary affiliation is with the Department of Comparative Literature (LSA) and she holds roles in the Center for Middle Eastern & North African Studies (CMENAS Executive Committee), Program in International and Comparative Studies (PICS), and related academic units. She earned her Ph.D. in 2020 from Duke University.

Her research focuses on Lebanon’s postcolonial identity through interdisciplinary analysis of war-era literature, visual arts, and political discourse. Current projects include Mad Archives of the Lebanese Civil War and studies on global militarization and moral injury. Teaching emphases include postcolonial theory, trauma studies, and world literature.
