Renata Świsłocka

Dr. Renata Świsłocka is an academic staff member at the Faculty of Chemistry, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, Poland. She successfully completed her habilitation procedure in 2014, a significant academic achievement in the Polish higher education system that qualifies her for the rank of Associate Professor.

The habilitation process involved preparation of an autoreferat (self-report), rigorous review by a commission chaired by Prof. Dr. hab. Bogusław Buszewski, and final approval by the Faculty Council. Her habilitation commission included distinguished academics such as Prof. Dr. hab. Stanisław Pikus (secretary), Prof. Dr. hab. Henryk Kozłowski, Prof. Dr. hab. Eng. Jerzy Ciarkowski, and other prominent chemists from Polish institutions.

As a member of the Institute of Chemical Sciences, Dr. Świsłocka contributes to the academic mission of a faculty that encompasses multiple specialized departments including Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry. The Faculty participates in numerous research initiatives including European-funded projects such as ICOCAD, BCAMEND, and PHOSPHOS, focusing on advanced chemical research and applications.
