Renata Kaminska is a Professor of Strategy and Innovation at SKEMA Business School, France, with a PhD in Management from Université Côte d'Azur. She holds a DEA in Management (1993) and has been a full-time faculty member since 1993, progressing to full professorship by 2001. She is Scientific Director of the joint Master 2 'Research in Management and Innovation' program involving SKEMA, Université Côte d'Azur, and GREDEG Research Center. Her research focuses on leadership for safety, organizational dynamics, innovation, and knowledge creation, with notable contributions to high-risk industries like nuclear energy.
She served as Director of MSc International Business (2013–2017) and has held visiting roles at universities in Poland, the UK, and elsewhere. Key roles include leading Work Package 4 of the EU-funded DMaLSE project (2023–2026) and being a Key Expert for the ELSE project (2019–2023). Her work bridges complexity theory with organizational practices, emphasizing resilience, safety leadership, and exaptation-driven innovation.
Research trends in her articles highlight interdisciplinary approaches to safety management in high-risk sectors, digital transformation challenges, and historical innovation analysis. She has supervised multiple PhD students and contributed to over 50 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and international conference presentations, often integrating empirical and theoretical contributions to management science.
