Remy Cross is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Criminology at the University of South Florida. His academic work centers on the dynamics of social movements, with particular focus on deviance, radical activism, and the intersection of communication technologies with political behavior. His dissertation research analyzed organizational patterns in anti-authoritarian movements across the political spectrum.
Professor Cross has published in prominent sociology journals including the Journal of Social Structure and Journal of Mathematical Sociology, as well as contributing to the Encyclopedia of Social and Political Movements. His research employs interdisciplinary approaches to understand grassroots political mobilization.
