Dr. Remy Ambuhl is an Associate Professor in Medieval History at the University of Southampton, Faculty of Arts and Humanities. His research focuses on the politics and ethics of war in late Medieval Europe (1300-1500), with particular emphasis on France, England, and Burgundy.

- Leverhulme Early Career Fellow (2012-2014)
- Fellow of Royal Historical Society (since 2015)
- Member of Centre for Medieval and Renaissance Culture
His work explores the evolution of laws of war, prisoner treatment, and urban surrender practices during the Hundred Years' War. Current projects include analyzing the fall of Rouen (1449) and international diplomacy networks.
