Rejin KEBUDİ

Rejin Kebudi is a Professor in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at Istanbul University's Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty and Oncology Institute. With over 40 years of clinical and academic experience, she specializes in pediatric oncology, retinoblastoma, medulloblastoma, and supportive care in oncology. Her leadership roles include chairing the SIOP Supportive Care Working Group and heading the Department of Preventive Oncology at Istanbul University.

• 1985-1990: Pediatrics Residency & Pediatric Oncology Fellowship at Istanbul University
• 1992: Postdoctorate training at New York University, University of California Los Angeles, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center

Her research focuses on pediatric cancers, retinoblastoma genetics, supportive care in pediatric oncology, and global health initiatives. Recent publications address tumor biology, treatment outcomes, and psychosocial aspects of childhood cancer care.

Key awards include the ASCO 2018 International Woman Who Conquer Cancer Mentorship Award and multiple best poster prizes at SIOP conferences. She has supervised 2 medical theses and serves on international oncology societies (SIOP, ASCO, ESMO, COG).
