Reetika Revathy Subramanian is a Research Fellow at the University of East Anglia's School of Global Development, specializing in gender, climate adaptation, and labour migration in South Asia. She holds a PhD and MPhil from the University of Cambridge and an MA from Tata Institute of Social Sciences. Her research bridges academic inquiry with public engagement through initiatives like the 'Climate Brides Podcast' and the multilingual comic 'Raindrop in the Drought.'
Her academic career includes prestigious awards such as the Gates Cambridge Scholarship and Bill Gates Sr Prize. She collaborates internationally on projects addressing SDGs 5 (Gender Equality), 13 (Climate Action), and 10 (Reduced Inequalities). Current projects include the SUCCESS research initiative on migration adaptation pathways and the BBC-AHRC New Generation Thinkers program.
