Reena N. Goldthree is an Associate Professor in the Department of African American Studies at Princeton University, with affiliated faculty appointments in the Program in Gender and Sexuality Studies and the Program in Latin American Studies. She specializes in Caribbean and Latin American history, particularly examining social movements, labor, migration, and feminist activism from the colonial era to contemporary times.

Her research explores intersections of empire, race, and gender in the Caribbean, with emphasis on anti-colonial struggles and diaspora formations. She investigates how World War I transformed political consciousness across the region, as well as feminist intellectual traditions and transnational activism. Current work examines militarization's societal impacts and gendered resistance movements.
Goldthree's publications center on Caribbean historiography, gender politics, and imperial legacies. Recent articles analyze WWI-era soldier experiences, feminist pedagogy, and diaspora intellectual networks, consistently highlighting themes of resistance, belonging, and decolonization across her 13+ peer-reviewed works.
