Rebekka Habermas

Rebekka Habermas was a Full Professor of History at Georg-August Universität Göttingen (2000–2023) and previously held positions including Substitute Full Professor at Ruhr-University Bochum (1998–2000) and Associate Professor at Universität Bielefeld (1992–1997). Her research focused on the History of Crime, 19th Century History, Modern Colonial History, and Religious History. She passed away on December 21, 2023.

• Studies in Romanic Literature and History at the University of Konstanz (1979–1985)

Research & Honors
