Rebecca Tsosie

Rebecca Tsosie is a Regents Professor and Morris K. Udall Professor of Law at the University of Arizona's James E. Rogers College of Law. A member of the Yaqui Nation, she specializes in Indigenous rights, tribal sovereignty, and environmental justice within federal Indian law.

She serves as Supreme Court Justice for the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation and Associate Judge on the San Carlos Tribal Court of Appeals. Her scholarship examines cultural pluralism, natural resource rights, and the intersection of tribal sovereignty with federal environmental policies.
