Dr. Rebecca St George is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Tasmania's School of Psychological Sciences. She holds a PhD in Neuroscience (2010) and has extensive postdoctoral experience, including NHMRC fellowships at University College London and the Oregon Health and Science University. Her research focuses on cognitive neuroscience, particularly the neural mechanisms underlying balance, gait, and movement in aging and neurodegenerative disorders like Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. She employs advanced techniques such as fNIRS, motion capture, and AI-driven analysis to identify early biomarkers of cognitive decline.
