Rebecca Rossetti

Rebecca Rossetti is a Tutor in the Department of Economics at the University of Bologna. She is also affiliated with the Department of Management. Her roles include tutoring undergraduate courses such as Consumer Behavior, Economia della Cultura, International Trade in Services, and Open Your Mind: A class Without Borders across Rimini and Bologna campuses. Rossetti is a PhD candidate researching 'Smart mobility hubs for a sustainable and integrated mobility' under the Future Earth, Climate Change and Societal Challenges program.

Her academic background includes a Master's degree in Resource Economics and Sustainable Development (cum laude, 2021) and a Bachelor's in Political Science and International Relations (cum laude, 2019), both from the University of Bologna and Sapienza University of Rome. Research activities include collaborations with TUM (Munich), CNR-ISMAR (Bologna), and the Permanent Representation of Italy to the UN in Geneva. She is part of the SSH CENTRE for Climate, Energy, and Transport Research and the SMARTHUBS JPI Urban Europe project, focusing on mobility communities and resilience assessment.

Rossetti's work spans sustainable mobility, climate policy, environmental migration, and cultural heritage preservation. Her recent publications address bike-sharing infrastructure, urban resilience, UNESCO heritage designation, and human migration dynamics. She actively contributes to interdisciplinary teams addressing societal challenges linked to climate change and urban development.
