Rebecca Ready

Rebecca Ready is a Professor and Graduate Program Director in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She serves as Director of Clinical Training and is a board-certified neuropsychologist whose research focuses on emotion regulation, well-being, and quality of life in adult and aging populations. Her work spans neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's and Huntington's, cognitive impairment, and clinical psychology training.

Research Highlights: Dr. Ready leads the Cognitive, Culture, and Emotion Lab, investigating how adults with high-functioning Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) understand emotions. Her research also explores cultural influences on brain-behavior relationships and editorial contributions to the Journal of Clinical and Experimental Neuropsychology.

Current Projects: The lab is launching studies to assess cultural considerations in clinical neuropsychology publications and cognitive-emotional skills in ASD populations.
