Rebecca Philipp

Rebecca Philipp is a Research Fellow and Psychological Psychotherapist at the Department of Medical Psychology within the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Hamburg. She is affiliated with the Center for Psychosocial Medicine at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE). Her research focuses on existential distress in advanced cancer patients, psychodynamic psychotherapy approaches, mental health in chronic illnesses, and caregiver support. She has contributed to studies on death anxiety, attachment theory in terminal illness, and the effectiveness of psychotherapeutic interventions in oncological settings.

Her work spans clinical research, systematic reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
