معرفی
Dr. Rebecca Muhle is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Child Study Center, Yale School of Medicine, Yale University. Her work focuses on neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly autism spectrum disorder (ASD), with an emphasis on molecular genetic mechanisms and translational research. She holds MD and PhD degrees from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed residency/fellowship training in psychiatry at Yale.
Research interests include genetic mutations (e.g., CHD8) linked to ASD, leveraging animal and cellular models to study neurodevelopmental pathways. She actively contributes to clinical care at the Yale Child Study Center and has pioneered educational initiatives to enhance psychiatrist training in neurodevelopmental conditions.
Her studies address topics like pandemic impacts on neurodevelopment and maternal SARS-CoV-2 exposure effects. Collaborations with Dr. James Noonan’s lab investigate gene regulatory networks critical to brain development. Clinical expertise spans care for individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, integrating genetic insights into clinical practice.
