Rebecca L. Latch

Dr. Rebecca L. Latch is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Medicine. She serves as Director of Medical Student Education and Pediatric Clerkship Director. She is affiliated with Arkansas Children’s Hospital, focusing on pediatric hospital medicine and emergency care. Dr. Latch received her M.D. from UAMS in 2000, completed her Pediatrics residency there in 2003, and served as Chief Resident from 2003–2004. She joined UAMS faculty in 2004 and holds board certifications in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hospital Medicine.

Her awards include the Golden Apple Award, Educator of the Year (2011–2012), and multiple Gold/Red Sash Awards from senior medical students. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Council on Medical Student Education in Pediatrics.
