Dr. Rebecca Kinnear is the SOTEAG Executive Officer at the School of Biology, University of St Andrews. Her research focuses on biodiversity dynamics, sediment ecology, and coastal ecosystems. She contributes to the BioTIME database project, advancing understanding of biodiversity trends in the Anthropocene. Kinnear specializes in sediment dynamics, bedform prediction, and the role of biological cohesion in geomorphological processes. She has collaborated on global ecological studies and contributed to coastal wetland research, including intertidal flat function and sediment transport mechanisms.
